Commonly speaking there are 2 ways for float fishing on a stream depending upon the distance you would like to cast so as to reach the fishes and you would require a variety of floats for fishing in a range of conditions effectively. They are listed as follows:
• Top & Bottom Floats
• Bottom Only Floats
For the majority of river fishing you would need a variety of straight Waggler (one with no body or insert) ranging in dimension from about five to nine inches (12 – 23cm) carrying shots from 2AAA to 6AAA.
